Erotic art by German Photographer Manuel Laval Born in 1952, Manuel Laval is not what you call 'a newcomer on the block'. Despite that fact his work is new & refreshing. Therefore it gives you the impression that the photos are made by a much younger photographer. His work contains a clear message, but is not always seen. He wants to break the taboo on open posses in the erotic photography community. In an earlier edition of duclerck we have already gave some attention to this appearance by bringing you the essay "Open Poses, Pornography, and Art," by Tom Hunscher. The conclusion of Tom was that as long as the model didn't feel offended there was no problem. Manuel Laval takes it all a step further. He doesn't just shoot open posses; he also makes photographs where only the genitals are seen. In these photo's he tries to show the viewer the beauty of genitals and lets you forget the traditional view on erotic photography. La Text-Quelle: www.duclerck.com
